Sandra S. Fekete (Sandy) is president and sole owner of Fekete + Company, a marketing communications firm she founded in 1983 that specializes in business-to-business marketing for privately held companies. She is also the developer and sole owner of Companies Are People, Too , an instrument introduced in 1996 that profiles the personality of an organization using the principles of psychological type pioneered by Carl Jung, Isabel Myers and Katherine Myers Briggs. Sandy's book, Companies Are People, Too: Discover, Develop, and Grow Your Company's Personality, was published by John Wiley & Sons in May, 2003.
Sandy is a behind-the-scenes advocate and counselor to a number of minority entrepreneurs in and beyond Central Ohio. She frequently addresses women business owners to share marketing ideas and to further the growth and success of minority business enterprises. In 2002, Sandy was awarded the National Association of Women Business Owners' Visionary Award. She is a charter member of Women President's Organization and serves on the advisory board for Key Bank. Sandy was named a semifinalist in Inc. Magazine's Marketing Masters Awards for her development of Companies Are People, Too.
A native of Great Falls, Montana, Sandy moved to Columbus in 1975 and spent the next eight years working in corporate communications positions until starting Fekete + Company in 1983. She attended the College of Great Falls and The Ohio State University, and maintains numerous professional affiliations. Special interests include golf, scuba, skiing, travel, and entertaining. Sandy and her husband, David Goble, reside in Columbus, Ohio.
